Spinal Tap litter
The puppies have left the nest. This litter has been a joy, sensible individuals, like their father. Unfortunately, the puppy we called Stella turned out to be hypercelaphus (water on the brain). I suspected this at a very early age, but we hoped she was just less fortunate in the looks department. Several vets looked at her and some agreed with my suspicions. Sadly, she suddenly lost body control and had to be put down. The autopsy report confirmed hydrocephalus.
The rest of the litter is just fine. All had flawless eye checks and have moved to seven fantastic homes. I have retained breeding rights on a tricolor female (Kensington Gate None More Black) and a sable boy (Kensington Gate One Louder), pictured. I wish the owners a wonderful time with their hopefuls.
